At Marchbank Bakers, we believe good food should be freshly made, full of flavour and served with a smile.

We’re a family-run bakery based in Dumfries & Galloway, with 11 shops across the region and a team of around 100 people. What has grown into the business you see today is still built around the same simple principles: great products, good value and friendly local service.

Made by Us

Behind every Marchbank Bakers shop is our bakery team, working throughout the night and early morning to make the products our customers enjoy every day.

From freshly baked morning rolls and breads to pies, sausage rolls, cakes, doughnuts and traybakes, a huge amount of what you'll find in our shops is produced by our own team.

We even have our own in-house butchery, allowing us to take greater control over the quality and consistency of the meat products that go into our savouries.

For us, being a baker means more than simply selling baked goods. We want to make food we're genuinely proud to put our name on.

Your Local Bakery

Our shops serve communities throughout Dumfries & Galloway, including Thornhill, Moffat, Lockerbie, Annan, Castle Douglas, Dalbeattie and Dumfries.

Every month, tens of thousands of customers visit Marchbank Bakers — whether it's for a morning coffee and bacon roll, something for lunch, a freshly baked pie or a cake for a special occasion.

We never take that support for granted.
